Private Capital Strategies
PCS is an independent registered investment adviser (RIA) providing a differentiated investment approach than our PCA actively managed strategy. We use our core fundamental investment principles but focus on alternative strategies geared risk management and creating uncorrelated returns.
PCS seeks to provide clients with non-traditional risk management and idea expression methods. We do this though position selection, sizing, portfolio overlays and other option strategies. We often couple this with active equity management.
In addition, PCS, offers access to pre-selected outside managers through our fund-of-funds, and in certain cases on a one-off basis.
PCS provides services on both an existing strategy and custom basis.
Strategies
PCS Tactical Equity
This strategy leverages the research and idea generation from PCA, but we overlay the portfolio with rules based risk management. We manage this strategy through separately managed accounts (SMA).
PCS Single Stock Covered Call Writing
In cases of inheritance or through long corporate careers, families or individuals who have acquired large amounts of a single stock with a low cost basis can utilize that position tax efficiently. Through our options strategies, we can provide downside protections or income based strategies. This helps turn what can be a large piece of your net worth into something more.
PCS Index Option Premium Decay
This strategy seeks to provide stable, uncorrelated returns by selling Index options and capturing the delta between implied vs realized volatility. We offer this strategy in concert with long only, tactical equity or credit portfolios. We can run this strategy as its own single account or in addition to any other strategy, creating a PLUS to the underlying asset's performance.
